“The Augusta homeowner’s security camera caught the suspects in the act of stealing the bikes off their front porch,” according to WAGT in Augusta. “They say if it wasn’t for the cameras, they would have never been able to catch at least one of the thieves.”

The power of monitored home security

Every 15 seconds, a burglary occurs somewhere in the US, but the majority of burglars are not caught on camera or sentenced for their crimes.

If a monitored home security system can catch a burglar stealing a bike, think of the multitude of other ways it can protect your home, family, and belongings.

Call on an industry leader

ADT monitored home security systems protect your home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, when you’re in the house and when you’re on vacation, miles away. ADT monitored home security systems are designed to help protect the most vulnerable areas of your home—the areas that are most often targeted by intruders. That means, both indoors and outdoors.

Outdoors: Your system detects potential intruders before they even step inside by securing your home’s entry points, such as doors and windows. Your sensors will notify ADT monitoring centers exactly which protected area has detected a break in.

Indoors: ADT’s state-of-the-art motion detectors act as an invisible blanket of protection over a wide area inside your home. Even if an intruder managed to get past your perimeter security sensors, the wireless infrared detectors inside sense human body heat and movement, instantly activating your system and alerting the ADT monitoring center with detailed information.

You want to feel safe when you go to bed at night, when you leave your house in the morning. You deserve to feel safe when you do something as simple as lock your bike to your porch.
